This body of work went through many stages. It began as 22mm rectangular watercolor paintings, sandwiched between two thin pieces of acetate and slipped into a small picture frame charm. From there, it evolved into 14mm brass rings crimped around thicker pieces of acetate to seal the paintings.

Ultimately, the jewelry became fully sealed and waterproof, set in bezel cups of sterling silver, fine silver, and 14k gold. The series expanded to include not only rings, but necklaces and earrings as small as 10mm in size.

Most of the rings depict scenes from various outdoor spaces in the Pacific Northwest. They’ve been sold through several pop ups throughout Seattle, through this website, and through social media. They were featured in the fall showcase show of 2023 at Domicile Gallery in Seattle, Washington.
